Careers

To provide students with a diverse and inclusive careers curriculum that allows them the opportunities to understand the world of work, by acquiring the knowledge, understanding, experience, skills and confidence to succeed, not only in school and work, but in their daily lives as a young adult and beyond. To provide students with unique and tailored opportunities to explore their personal interests, skills, strengths and passions and to complement their subject-based learning and ability to discover potential future paths in life. Part of this is to provide students with the ability to become responsible citizens, contributing to society, the community, the economy and the wider world, through having the desire and confidence to explore their possibilities, create their own opportunities, reflect on their goals and career plans and be able to successfully balance their work and personal life. This will help contribute to young people having self-awareness, self-determination, having a positive self-esteem and ultimately a positive mental health and wellbeing
