On a frosty, very early, January morning 9 of our Y9 geographers headed off to London with 9 students from LBHS. A very busy 48 hours in London included; 2 planes, 2 trains, 6 tubes, 4 DLR journeys, 4 workshops with the Royal Geographical Society, 1 Science museum, 1 Natural History museum, 1 Olympic park, 1 slide down the orbital, 4 surveys, 29 questionnaires in East London, 1 birthday, a lot of hot chocolate and a smidgen of shopping at Gatwick.
Our students were fantastic and there were compliments from the hotel staff and 2 members of the public on how well they behaved. A special mention has to be made to Dalehna Maubec who was a fantastic ambassador for all of the students. Thanks for making the trip so pleasant ladies!
